Which AI resume builder should you use?
8 cards in drawer 2, our pick first. Prices are as each tool's own site stated them on November 8, 2026.
Free to start; $49/month, $99 per quarter, $229 per year
Best for
Line-by-line feedback on wording.
What it does
Scores a resume out of 100 with line-by-line feedback. Smart Target compares it with a job description, and AutoFix rewrites weak lines for you to approve.
The catch
Its terms say first-time buyers cannot get a refund.
Free for 5 jobs a day; Pro $39/month or $99/quarter
Tailoring done for you on every tech match
Listing coverage is thinner outside tech.
What does tailoring a resume to a job mean?
Every tool here compares your resume with a job description and lists the words the posting uses that your resume does not. Add the ones that are true. Moving your most relevant work to the top does as much as any keyword.
Can you trust an AI resume rewrite?
Resume Worded and Enhancv ask you to approve each change, which is the right default. Whatever tool you use, read the result line by line before you send it. A rewritten bullet that claims work you did not do is worse than a plain one.
